As the name suggests, a traditionally built house with twin gabled roof, 'Gables'  is a popular choice for two couples. Under one gable is bedroom with queen bed, bathroom with full size bath and vanity, separate toilet and laundry facilities. Under the other gable is a second bedroom with twin singles or king size bed, and kitchen at the rear. Beds all have electric blankets, feather doonas and fresh white linen and towels.

Each room has large recycled sash windows opening out to beautiful valley setting and story book scenes. The well equipped kitchen has gas oven/cooktop, microwave, fridge and cutlery and crockery. The gables are joined by open plan living area with wood fire, additional gas heating, inviting couches with cushions and throws, books and magazines. Just the place to plan your Great Ocean Road explorations or just unwind and relax. There's a flat screen TV and DVD player and ipod dock too!

Enjoy the morning on the front balcony in an Adirondack chair overlooking the citrus orchard and Henderson Creek, then move to the rear balcony with BBQ that is soaked in afternoon sun. Polished timber floorboards, eclectic antique furnishings throughout give Gables that home away from home feel. Complimentary fresh linen and towels.

Accommodates a family of 4 or up to 4 adults.

" If only we could take Gables back to Melbourne with us! Will definitely be back. Thanks Sarah for making it all so hassle free."

"After 2 weeks of grey skies and a lot of rain we arrived at Allenvale and got some lovely sunny days. Gables feels like home and has everything you wish for. We went to get some local produce ourselves today: berries at Gentle Annie's in Deans Marsh, highly recommended trip! If it wasn't for the 24 hour flight we would be coming back soon!" - Erik, Sashia and Charlotte. London

"First night a bit cold but made wonderful by the fire, the peace and quiet! Morning great, kangaroos on hill, sun on trees, ducks feeding around cottage - what a sight - worth experiencing!!"
